Morning Hikes in the Jurupa Mountains

The short Jurupa Mountains are a sequence of rocky, conical peaks near Fontana. There are perhaps 8 summits, but we will only attempt to visit the 6 most prominent: Mt Jurupa (2217'), Rattlesnake Mtn (1602'), Pt 1768, Pt 1913, Pt 1452, Pt 1739. All of these are short, most are cross-country, some require easy rock scrambling (reportedly class 2).

This is a series of short hikes - we will drive between a few trailheads to explore the most we can.

At one point, we may have to pay to park in the Jurupa Hills Regional Park - we will try to avoid it but please bring a small amount of cash.
