Timber and Telegraph Peaks ~14 miles 4800 elevation gain

Details

I've done these 2 peaks and the views are really amazing. It is a rather strenuous hike, especially hiking up to Telegraph Peak. I'd really like to do it again. We would meet in the Icehouse Canyon parking lot, preferably by 6:45 a.m. because parking can be difficult. You will need an Adventure Pass to park here.

Here is the plan...from the Icehouse parking lot we'll head up about a mile to the Chapman trail and take that to Icehouse Saddle. We can take a break here, then head up to Timber peak. After that we head to Telegraph peak. On our way back down though we won't take Chapman trail ; we'll take the Icehouse trail back down since it is shorter.

We can take breaks as needed at either of the peaks. Please bring at least 3 liters of water and/or Gatorade or Powerade; these energy drinks can really help a lot. Bring a lunch and snacks because you will get hungry.
