Beautiful Hike to summit with great views, one of the best in the range. Vincent Gap parking area is on Hwy 2 -Angeles Crest Hwy 5 miles from Big Pines or 53 miles from La Canada. Advanced hike, not for beginners.

Andrew's the hero again for delivering perfect weather and conditions for this classic workout hike. This is my third hike with the club and I continue to meet new and interesting people enjoying the outdoors, hiking among the scent of pine trees, with a fantastic view of the desert and surrounding areas from the summit. THANKS ANDREW!

If your coming from Boyle Heights the 2 ( Angeles Crest Hwy ) is the way I would go. About an hour from the 210.

Joseph, you still have room? If so, can I meet somewhere on the way; I have to come out the 57 to the 210 to get to Arcadia.

Ledy, I live just a few minutes from REI in Arcadia. 6 am is perfect. I should be taking one other lady from the hiking club also.
I'm leaving in an hour for a short backpack trip in the Sierras. I'll contact you on Thursday. NO NEED to help pay for gas. I was going that way anyway!

Joseph, I'd like to carpool. I can be at REI Arcadia by 6:00a if you and your wife don't mind having me as company. Also, I would be more than happy to help pay for gas. Please let me know. Thank you so much.

I live in Arcadia and should have room for 2 people; 1 if my wife goes, to haul up to Vincent Gap. I carpooled one person last week to Crystal Lake. Worked out very well. I'll be on the road at 6 am.
