Conditioning Hike on Garcia Trail

I'll be doing a conditioning hike up the Garcia Trail on Thursday evening, anyone interested is welcome to come along. The trail is a steep climb with some 866 vertical feet per mile. From trailhead to Ridge Road it is 1.2 miles, with an elevation gain of 1040 feet. I'll be going up to the cross, which is an additional 200 feet of EG and .2 miles further. All-in-All, distance is 2.8 miles R/T, with an EG of approx. 1,240 feet.
To get there from the I-210 Foothill Freeway, exit at Azusa Avenue. Go north on Azusa Avenue for 1.7 miles to Sierra Madre Avenue. Turn right on Sierra Madre and drive 1.1 mile to L.A. County Fire Station #97. The station address is: 18453 Sierra Madre Ave. The trailhead is on the left side of the station (as you face the mountains).
Be sure to bring water and a flashlight (just in case it gets dark before we get down)
