RC at the Pasadena Earth and Arts Fest:
Come out to help fix stuff. And see if my solar setup has enough juice to run the sewing machine.
If you are volunteering to fix things at Repair Cafe, please fill out the spreadsheet so we know your availability to man the repair table on Saturday.

I'm not sure where our tables will be yet, but the park is not too big. You can sometimes find parking at the Raymond garage (171 N. Raymond Av), right next to the park.
I will be there around 9:30 to start to set up. I guess I'll be there all day.
If you are coming to repair, bring along some hand tools. One thing we alway need (but I forget to go buy) is a long, medium-sized Phillips screwdriver to open those plastic cases with deep holes.Craft sticks and epoxy seem useful, too. Hmm maybe get the kind of sticks with the flavored ice on them.
It will be very hot! But at least we will have plenty of sun rays for power. And cold beer will be available!
Even if you are just stopping by, don't forget to wear your SGVHAK/SGVLUG t-shirts!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
