Singles Cinema

Singles Cinema is a group of single movie fans, age 35+, who meet up to see a movie and then head out afterwards for dinner, drinks, and lively conversation. Movies are always on the weekend (at least 2 per month), at theaters all throughout the St. Louis area. During the summer months, we also meet up for movies shown at local area parks. On occasion, we extend our "theater" outings to the Muny, Fox Theater, Repertory Theater, and other theater venues (scheduled upon member request only).

MOVIE SELECTION:
All movie theaters update their movie showings on Thursday of each week; therefore, it is not possible to post the selected movie any earlier. Movie selections are decided by a member poll taken the preceding Thursday of each scheduled movie.

LIMITED ATTENDANCE:
Attendence for each movie is limited to 30 people so that the restaurants can accommodate a group of our size. If you RSVP for any movie, but decide not to go later, please update your RSVP so that those members on the waiting list can attend. Please keep in mind that many restaurants simply do not take reservations on weekends, and we have to wait -- please be patient and flexible should this be the case.

TIME & LOCATION:
Members meet for each movie in the theater lobby 20 minutes before the movie begins (a more specific spot is announced closer to the date). If you arrive late, you are responsible for finding the group on your own.

MEMBER FEE:
There is a $1.00 fee (per month), simply to cover the monthly Meetup subscription cost. Please pay the group Organizer at whatever movie you attend.
