As I grow older, I'm finding less and less people to snowboard with. A lot of my friends are either married and/or have kids, have other obligations or are simply losing interest in the sport. I, on the other hand, am ready to ride, and I'm hoping to meet other like-minded snowboarders! Although I'm over riding by myself, I never lost my desire to go snowboarding. On the contrary, I now view snowboarding as a wonderful social experience and love to take in the entire mountain experience.
As the group (hopefully) grows and evolves, my goal is to schedule off mountain meet-ups so members can get to know each other in a relaxed & comfortable social setting, day trips to semi-local mountains and eventually weekend and/or week-long trips as the members get to know each other more. We can also explore the possibility of group discounts as the more elaborate trips are planned.
Are you wondering if you should join? Well, if you have any interest in learning how to snowboard, rekindling your old hobby or continuing your love of the sport with new friends, then the answer is "yes!"

Hey All,
Sorry for the last minute change up, but the anticipated attendance really faltered toward the end here.
I'm going to move the meetup to 11/28 in the afternoon, because I know the Friday night time did not work for a few people who otherwise wanted to attend.
I'm going to keep the location at PJ Whelihan's in Cherry Hill.
Again, if you can't attend, please let me know why. Read more
