Read. Eat. Discuss. Have fun. Repeat.

Food and books--almost as good of a pair as milk and cookies. Or Lennon and McCartney.

This is all about getting together with other people who enjoy eating and reading and discussing what makes literature great and any other topics that may come up.

With so many books in print it is good to have direction from other avid readers to know what to read next. What better avenue than over a delicious meal at one of SLC's fine dining venues? Classic reading (like food) comes from all genres, eras and cultures so everyone is invited to join.

Here's how it works, every week (or so) there is a new book at a new restaurant.  We like to have a variety of reads and foods. Each meetup is open to the first 15 people to RSVP which means a different group every time. We are pretty laid back and easy going.  If a book doesn't catch your eye, not to worry, there are plenty more every month for you to come to.

Finishing or even reading the book is not required. Sometimes you need to hear a discussion about it to decide if you want to add it to your "to read" list.
