Just some quick FAQ's on this Primer Meet-Up

Q: What if I don't have an dSLR or camera that shoots RAW, can I still join?
A: Absolutely! While having a dSLR camera will allow you to shot in all sorts of modes and change settings, it isn't vital to taking a good picture. I think more importantly is your desire to learn about photography and open your experience to possibilities out there. I also have a Canon 10D & 20D that I can bring to the workshop for anyone who wants to test it out.

Getting close to the meeting - just a few points. This meeting is only a primer for the other series of workshops and group meet-ups. I am trying to schedule them around the same day, or perhaps on Wednesday evenings instead. This workshop will be held at the SLC Studio and so will the others until Moab. EACH workshop will have it's own meet-up event with details & cost.

It was a great opportunity to talk to photographers about all the basic functions of exposure and composition. The casual format provided for lots of questions and hands-on experience with new found knowledge. I am excited to see the next upcoming workshops and how we can put this information to practice in the field.

It was fantastic! I learned things that I thought I wouldn't understand and I'm excited to be a manual photographer! I've been shooting for quite a while now, but had never taken a class simply about my camera and what it actually does. I'm excited to take more.
