Posing 101 - Part 1 - Couples, Adults and Teenagers

Discuss posing your clients. Experienced models may be able to pose for you, but what if you are working with an in-experienced model or client? What poses make the model/client look thinner? What does the pose say if you take the shot from a low vantage point vs. a high one? Discuss the 'bend what can bend' rule, how to find inspiration for posing, do's and don'ts.

Some very practical pearls for better posing. Came out with new information and more comfort asking people to pose.

The group was great. Everyone shot and then participated in evaluating the outcome. It was collaborative enviorment, what a great group, we all learned from one another, both professional and armature.

Interesting perspectives on posing, and modeling. I agree, using prop's in photo's is a must (either background or interactive).
Double thumbs up on the networking. Everyone there was super friendly and nice. Thanks!

    Thoughts:
It would have been nice to have an experienced model, instead of having us rotate in to do photos. Having us view a tethered shoot on a projector, or large monitor would be nice, so we wouldn't have to huddle around each others camera (cannot see detail, expression, or proper lighting with 10 people gathered around a 3" screen).

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
