**Please dress appropriately, the temperature along with the wind chill makes running the Marina a bit uncomfortable if you're not prepared (I found out from experience haha). I recommend gloves, long sleeves, a sweater or possibly a wind breaker, and leggings. After about 10-15 minutes of activity I was able to get my blood flowing and warm up **

Please be sure to eat and keep yourself hydrated through out the day

What is an intermediate meetup?

-These meetups are generally meant to be a bit more challenging, even for me; running consistently at the intermediate level means that you're going to burn some calories. In an intermediate meetup, we try to minimize the breaks we take (maybe once every 1-1.5 miles or less). If you find yourself having more energy than the rest of the group, you can run or do workouts in place. We will do 2 sets of push ups and 2 sets of ab-workouts before we run.

Itinerary:

8p - 8:10p-We will meetup, do some introductions while we stretch, do some smaller workouts, go over a nutrition tip of the day.

8:10/8:15p - We'll do 2 sets of ab workouts and 2 sets of push ups for 15 - 20 min. I'll post the workouts soon but they include legs lifts, curl ups, bicycle kicks, 2 sets of push ups, and if we're feeling gutsy, 1 minute planks (same as a beginner workout, but I will try to keep the pace going).

8:30p - We'll run the 1 mile track; run the 3+ mile track; and run the 1-mile track one to two more times. I predict that we'll take breaks every 1-1.5 miles or less.

-After we're done, feel free to but I'll we'll do one more ab-set. We'll finish off with a quick stretch.
