Oakland Cemetery - Sunday in the Park!

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/5/9/1/7/event_11002807.jpegIt's that time of year again - Oakland Cemetery's 33rd annual "Sunday in the Park"! What is this? Well, it's a celebration of the Victorian [cemetery] Park as a social setting. There will be Victorian costume contests, a Civil War encampment, art fair, live music, and LOTS of photo opportunities! In fact, this is the one time of the year that they open up the mausoleums where you can get some great shots of the stain glass windows. There are a also a lot of kid-friendly activities so definitely a family event.

Since the event runs noon to 6pm I'm not going to suggest everyone meet at a specific time and place, but if you want to leave messages here to coordinate an information gathering during the event please do!
