Since the mid 1970's when my grandmother gave me an instamatic style camera in high school. I've always been the one who has a camera in tow.
Recently upgraded to the Canon 60D, have always used Canon equipment from my first A-1 in about 1978 and had several different film versions from there. Advanced into digitial with the Canon Rebel series in the very early models (6 megapixel days as I recall), carry a Panasonic Lumix for point and shoot quickies and purchased the 60D in late 2011 to "graduate" to the next level including classes to further my technical skills. I love my new Manfrotto tripod recently gifted to me by my husband.
Probably the mid range of an Intermediate level with advanced desire for learning more!
Searching on internet for an ATL photography group, found through MeetUps forum.
My name is Darlene Ball and I've always been the "one behind the camera" in my family and social settings. I have recently expanded my skills by taking a 101 and 102 class series at Showcase Photography School and dream of more advanced learning.
