Created in June 2006 by the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, CH2M HILL and Avaya, STEM-EC’s mission is to increase the number of STEM graduates and to prepare them for the challenges of a technology-driven economy via a variety of pathways, including career and technical education, community colleges and universities.
The STEM-EC is led by a five member executive committee and a twenty-five member board of advisors.
Mark Alpert of CH2M Hill is the Chair of the STEM-EC beginning October 2012. The group's other leaders can be found at: Leadership of the STEM-EC.
