This meetup group is for people who enjoy going to smaller theaters - rather than the larger venues where most seats are so far from the stage that you have to imagine the actors' expressions! We'll focus on theaters within easy reach of Pasadena (such as Boston Court, Glendale Centre Theatre, Sierra Madre Playhouse) but will also go to other venues in the LA area (such as the Geffen Playhouse, Mark Taper Forum and the many excellent but tiny venues in and around Hollywood).
Everyone will buy their tickets separately online, although hopefully the entire group will meet before the play to have lunch or dinner together. But no problem if you just want to meet up for the play itself sometimes - that's fine too!

PLEASE NOTE: for I think the first time ever, we will be eating after the play!
Overview: We'll meet at 6.45pm at the Skylight Theatre at 1816 1/2 N. Vermont in Los Feliz to see Los Angeles restaurant farce "La Ronde de Lunch". Then after the play we'll walk just up the street to Fred 62 located at 1850 N. Vermont for a late dinner. Read more
