The Ph.D. Colloquium is a structure that could enhance SUPA doctoral education by providing an opportunity for students to practice presenting work, receive feedback from peers, and serve as a support group. We hold biweekly ninety minute sessions that would allow Ph.D. students in both UPPP and PUAD programs to achieve these objectives. In each session a student would present work in a 30 minute presentation. There would then be a discussion about the presented work and an open discussion for all the students to talk about research progress and possible challenges.
