The New Beta Way To Connect, Collaborate, Influence – And Lead”.

This Fireside Chat is for executive management to explore the sweeping changes taking place in today's most successful businesses.

THE FUTURE BELONGS TO THE BETAS

“The once useful, top-down, authoritarian business model is on its way out,” proclaims corporate anthropologist Dana Ardi. With it, goes the Alpha mentality of command and control. Instead, the future belongs to the Betas – to leaders, managers, and employees who want to collaborate, communicate, and influence others.

In her new book, THE FALL OF THE ALPHAS, Ardi – who has years of experience as a venture capitalist and a private equity managing director, organizational design expert, and management consultant to large and small companies alike – explains what the Beta model is, and why it is the key to both business success and career fulfillment. “Beta is all about collaboration and communication,” she explains. “It draws on the strengths and experiences of everyone in the organization, and it offers today’s employees what they are craving – the ability to contribute and grow, based on their own talents and interests.”

Susan Sigl and Dana Ardi will discuss how and why the Beta model emerged, and explore such topics as:

• Why communication, collaboration, and curation are key to the Beta culture?

• What it means to be a Beta leader and why now?

• How Beta cultures attract employees, bring generations together, drive innovation and build loyalty in their people?

• What it takes to build a Beta organization?

Relevant to leaders in corporations as well as lean start-ups, Dana and Susan will share a roadmap for companies and individuals to transform from Alpha to Beta, becoming more effective, flexible, and profitable in the process.

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages as well as conversation with your executive colleagues.
