“Introduction to HIPAA Security – the Do’s and Don’t of IT Security for eHealth startups” By Gorka Sadowski

The keynote will articulate the basic rules of health information privacy and security for HIPAA compliance. We will look at who needs to comply with HIPAA’s Privacy and Security rules, and HIPAA’s proposed methodology for insuring compliance. Finally we’ll cover what happens for non-compliant entities.

Gorka Sadowski (http://www.linkedin.com/in/gorkasadowski/) is a natural born entrepreneur with a deep understanding of Technology, IT Security and how these create value in the marketplace. Gorka spent the last 20 years initiating, building and growing businesses that provide technology solutions to the industry.
