Michael Killen's large format paintings, mostly over 15 feet in length, express his strong opinions on environmental science. The beauty and the shocking imagery serve as a bridge to open up the conversation about the dire consequences of our global energy choices.

Ripudaman Malhotra, Research Fellow at SRI International (formerly Stanford Research Institute) is co-author of A Cubic Mile of Oil. Dr. Malhotra is an organic chemist who has worked extensively in the area of energy and is the recipient of the 2015 Storch Award by the American Chemical Society’s Division of Energy and Fuels. A Cubic Mile of Oil is a citizen’s guide to energy. It was written to engage the public in a sustained and an informed conversation about future energy choices.
