Bread::Board, ZeroMQ

  • October 2, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • NVidia Bldg E Conference Center

Thomas Klausner, a seasoned CPAN contributor, will be traveling from Austria to visit the Bay Area. Although he doesn't sound like Arnold Schwarzneggar, he does expound on Perl.

Bread::Board is intriguing, so says Lambert when confronted with something so different.

ZeroMQ makes the frighteningly difficult task of network programming, and reduces it to something which is relaxing and fun.

    Thanks for the presentation, Thomas, and for putting up the slides. There seems to be a lot to wrap your head around and it went by so fast! Is all the code in the slides? Working code is frequently the best part. :) Nice to know 0mq is back on track, too.

    If you want to participate on a ZeroMQ live demo, bring your laptop with a current ZeroMQ (4.0) installed.

    You can find the instructions on how to install ZeroBlog (one of the things I'm going to live-demo) here:

    I'm sad to be missing this one. Out of town on business.

    I'll also be visiting SV in Ocotober, so if you want to anything about things like Bread::Board, ZeroMQ, OX, I'd be happy to give a short (or long..) talk: http://domm.plix.at/talks.html

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
