What skills do you need to be worthy of a perl job

This presentation will be a panel discussion by four veteran perl programmers: Michael Friedman, Elle Plato, Joe McMahon, and Ian Kluft. Each presenter will have 5 minutes to present their perspective on what skills are needed for an individual to become a job worthy perl programmer. After the presentations, there will be a period of Q&A.

Beginners are especially encouraged to come to this meeting.

    It was great to learn from the other "side" of the industry what is looked for when hiring. There were places of overlap (great!) and places where the recruiting side falls short (so now we know some weaknesses).
