Love Camping? Love the Outdoors? This group was formed for anyone that wants to meet others who share their passion for camping and other outdoor activities.
Plus? What is Plus? We are looking for Assist Organizer to help out with other events for this group. Some of the suggested events are hikes or canoe trips. Really anything you can come up with that’s out in the great outdoors. Also it will be greatly appreciate if would setup or help setup camping trip. Why not step up to the plate? “I want to help. Make me an Assist Organizer!” If we get enough events planned, I’ll change the name to “Southwest Suburbs Camping & Hiking Meetup Group”

Let's take a Hike. This will be a 8.5 mile hike (the yellow loop). We will try to make it in 4 hours. Please dress accordingly. The terrain is hilly with uneven, sometimes narrow trails. If it rains this week the trails will be muddy. Don't forget to bring water and snack for the hike.
We will meet at 10:15 and start the hike at 10:30 sharp. Please be on time.
