SwOH Strobists Monthly Meetup - Creative Portraits & Headshots

The SwOH Strobists Monthly MeetUp for Nov will be held Wed 11/30 at 21c Studio in Liberty Township OH, with a focus on Creative Portraits & Headshots using small off-camera flash and light modifiers.

Meetups may often be limited to 15-20 members, so please RSVP via the I'm Going button to ensure your place.

A variety of light mods will be available, from typical softboxes to striplight mods, shoot-thru and reflecting umbrellas, various diffusers and reflectors, a beauty-dish, a number of small flags and other, briefcase sized light mods.

You are invited to bring your own cameras, speedlights, light mods and stands, and of course the typical enthusiasm for sharing with, and learning from, others that helps make this group what it is.

There should be a model or two in attendance, though we may use members as well, so bring some colorful solid-color clothing and suitable props. If you know someone who would also like to model, please let me know IN ADVANCE and I'll work it into the plans.

No unannounced guests, please, for regular meetings.

The only two firm ground rules the group has established are:

• Please ask before handling or using another member's photo gear, flashes, or accessories.

• Respect the privacy of members: No candid photos of others without asking, and certainly no posting of photos of others without prior approval.

A five-ten dollar donation is suggested to help cover the costs of using the studio, providing for models, and paying for the meetup website.
