Hi! This is a Nonviolent Communication Practice Group which meets monthly. We study from Marshall Rosenberg's book, Nonviolent Communication: A Language for life. Nonviolent Communication is a method of communicating which aims to develop honest and empathetic connection by NOT triggering fight-flight-freeze reactions in ourselves and others. We begin and end each meeting by practicing giving and receiving empathy; and we practice our self-expression skills by doing activities, games, role-plays, or other exercises. We meet at Thinkhouse Collective on 1726 11th Street, Sacramento, CA 95811. Sessions begin at 6 pm and run for roughly 1.5 to 2 hours.

These Practice Group sessions are organized by myself, Grant.  If you'd like to learn more about Nonviolent Communication, I'd suggest you start with the Center for Nonviolent Communication: www.cnvc.org.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
