What do you know about permaculture?

I grew up with both sides of my family coming from agricultural roots--mom's side from roots back to Pilgrims and farming; dad's side to Ilocano (Tribe of the Philippines) and Native American Cherokee origins on the land--both of those grandparents were born in fields--a Nipa Hut above a rice paddy and a dirt floor in Arkansas. So, I grew up with both sides of family growing family food.

Do you enjoy hands on projects?

I do enjoy hands yet I was injured in the military so I have to monitor all my back work.

What are you looking for from this group?

I have studied Permaculture and several ways of working with community--from military to living on a community gardening project in Guatemala. I am planning on buying a home with some property to design a Edible Permacultural garden and am seeking community for seed and plant exchanges.

What permaculture emphasis grabs you the most? Sustainable gardening and farming, natural building, activism, cooporative communities, other?

I am interested in sustainable and cooperative cummity building around self-sufficiency and co-creating solutions for global warming locally.

Born in the Summer of Love, in a military town where both Hippies and Veterans worked together in my family. I am a retired psychic trainer and military Veteran--a Spiritual Warrior.
