Now that you know where to find us on the interweb, here's what this group is about:

The Sacramento Scene Meetup exists because most people agree they need to get out more. We're here to provide a place you can go and find top notch people to hang out with when you feel the urge to connect! Our group coordinates events & activities you can attend to get out and enjoy life & meet cool new people! So, if you've been slackin' on your social planning, or have let yourself get too busy you forgot how to fit fun in your schedule, check out one of our events!

Our group is one of the most consistently active and highest rated social network groups in Sacramento Metro Area. This group offers activities for a younger, more open-minded, and sociable group of people who are welcoming and avoid becoming clique-ish. If you're positive & young at heart, you'll connect well with this group - no matter what your age! Most of the other Meetup groups in Sacramento are populated by a somewhat 'older' conservative membership, ours is about 25-35 average age range and our activities are interactive and upbeat! 

A diversity of events that reflects everyone's interests is the key to keeping it FUN. Open-minds, positive attitudes, and great senses of humor prevail here, so please leave gossip at the door as it sullies the positivity we promote. DO bring your positive energy and ideas for new events you'd like to see us post.

If you think you've got hostess with the mostess  (or host with the most) skills and have an event, activity, or hot spot you'd like to share with Sactown locals, contact the organizer and she'll hook you up with access to post & host your very own event! It's a great way to find like-minded, positive, fun, down-to-earth locals to share fun experiences with.

With The Sacramento Scene Meetup, you should never have the excuse that you didn't get to check out that fun event/activity/hot spot you wanted to go to because you had no one to go with! Simply post an event and you're sure to find a handful (or more) of cool cats that want to do the same thing. The Sacramento Scene Meetup is also a great place to develop and refine your existing event coordination skills that'll carry over to work, dinner parties, or other social engagement mixers you may want to run in the future!
