Champaign Supercharger opening

Unofficial grand opening of the Champaign Supercharger! We will meet at the Supercharger next to Meijer and after charging and chatting Tesla, we'll go from there to Destihl Restaurant and Brew Works (www.destihl.com) for lunch, which is just a couple miles away.

If you're coming from the St Louis area, and would like to caravan, we will be starting a "current" (group of flowing electrons and/or Tesla cars) at the TA in Troy, IL (819 Edwardsville Rd) at 9:15am. We'll depart there at about 9:30 for Champaign, stopping for 15-30min in Effingham for those that need to charge. Our current will pass through Effingham around 11-11:30. Feel free to call/text John (314-368-8718) if you'd like to coordinate more precisely.

Also, for those that don't own a Tesla, you're welcome to join the caravan, or most likely, hitch a ride with somebody who has empty seats. We typically have a few owners driving solo who are happy to have the company!
