Aílton Nunes Mangueira Samba Workshop!

Aílton Nunes, bateria director of the legendary Mangueira Samba School in Rio De Janeiro, and leader of the Advanced Bateria at California Brazil Camp will make a rare LA Appearance.
Samba Da Mudança is delighted to present this Rio-Samba workshop with this talented and generous teacher and conductor.

NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO SAMBA DANCE CLASS AT THIS MEETING.

The workshop will run from 7pm - 9pm sharp on Thursday March 28th and will focus on the latest Rio style samba drumming coming directly from the heart of Samba!

PLEASE ARRIVE BETWEEN 6:30 - 6:45 so we can start right at 7pm!
We'll want to spend every minute of the two hours of this special opportunity!

Instruments covered will be; Surdos, Caixa, Repinique, and Tambourim. Learn the Mangueira patterns direct from the source. Use your instruments or ours.
