This is a forum to support community gardens around San Antonio. There are over 19 different community gardens around town. Many of these gardens need for-the-day volunteers and committed individuals with knowledge and experience, or just plain time and energy.
Whether you want to start a garden, are a part of one, you're just looking for a plot, or you just want to do something different with a morning/afternoon. Roll up your sleeves and get involved. Let's get together and get our hands DIRTY!

This is our last chance before next year to get out to the garden to finish the pathway that we started last month. Get hands on experience with installing an easy, durable, attractive walking path in the middle of a flourishing garden!
If it rains again, we'll just have to get a fantastic breakfast somewhere. I have some ideas, but am also open to suggestions.
Dirt is good.
