March Meetup: Machine Learning at Scale with Python

Hey everyone this month's meetup will feature:

• Andrea Zonca - HPC Applications Specialist at the San Diego Supercomputer Center

• Our very own Derren Barken - Director of Bioinformatics at Exagen Diagnostics

Andrea will be presenting on:

-Running IPython Notebook on Amazon EC2
-Running single node Machine Learning jobs using multiple cores
-Distributing jobs with IPython parallel to multiple EC2 instances

Derren will give us a quick intro to the very promising Julia language.

It's best to park at the Hopkins Parking structure, adjacent to SDSC. Park in white spaces marked V, a permit is required ($1 / 45min)

We'll be meeting at SDSC's Auditorium located on the ground level of the east entry right on Hopkins Drive.
