Functional Hackathon

Impromptu, short notice meetup idea! Let's meet at the Living Room cafe in La Jolla village and work on some functional code. Here are some ideas on format: we start small/new projects in groups (perhaps a capture the flag of some sort) or we can hack on existing projects. Perhaps some data-mining exercises on a large dataset? A web crawler? Race through some Project Euler problems? Might be a great way to pair up experienced programmers with newbies. I'm a Haskell-er, but any language will do, so if anyone's interested just bring your laptop!
