Pacoima Canyon Loop

Details

From Dillon Divide (2,740') on Little Tujunga, we park ( without blocking the gate & showing our Adventure Pass ) our cars and walk pass the gate (3N32) and onto Mendenhall Ridge Rd. In less than half a mile we travel down 4N35 & hike on to Dagger Flat. We'll explore Dutch Louie mine and continue through Pacoima Canyon until reaching the dirt rode in which we then travel southwest to Highline Saddle (3,620'). From this saddle we hike down 2.9 miles on Burma Rd. and land back on Little Tujunga to our car, and drive a short distance to Dillon Divide. This is a shuttle hike.

Total miles hiked: 15-16 miles.

There is a spring and waterfall that is on the Tim Harrison & usgs maps I would like to visit.

Bring 3 liters of water and electrolytes and a water filter. There is water the first 8-9 miles.
