Millard Falls, Dawn Mine, & Cope of Good Hope

Let's travel back in time to 1902, the beginning of Dawn Mine.

This is one of the best canyon hikes in the front country of the San Gabriels with stream crossings, and some light rock hopping, on an almost all shaded trail.

Things to bring: Headlamp or flashlight, light waterproof jacket, two liters of water, food and electrolytes, hiking shoes (no Vans!), trekking poles if you got them, camera, MEDICATION, ibuprofen, sun cap, sun glasses,and a great attitude.
