Free contra dance for all newcomers! Also, if you're an experienced dancer, bring a newcomer, and you will both get in free! Really, though, if you've attended just once or twice, that's good enough for us, and you won't have to pay either. What we'd like, is to get a ton of people at the dance having a good time, so tell your friends, and let's pack the place!
Music will be by community band, led by Chris Knepper on fiddle and Debra Tayleur on piano. The last time we did this, we had about 20 musicians crowding the stage, so it should be fun.
Calling will be by Erik Hoffman, who, besides being a longtime contra caller, is also in much demand as a caller for weddings and parties, because he can make anyone want to get up and dance with his affable inclusive style.
Contact erik at erikhoffman.com for rehearsal schedule if you want to join the band
