Monitoring and Metrics with Sensu

Sensu (https://github.com/sensu) is a simple, malleable monitoring/metrics bus that leverages AMQP and a slim evented ruby client/server.  It's configuration management friendly, user friendly, and hacker friendly (MIT licensed). There are dozens of community-contributed checks and handlers, everything from HAProxy metrics to HipChat handlers. Come join SF DevOps to find out what you can do with Sensu!

This was an interesting event, that gave me a few ideas to take back to my company.

I don't suppose anyone is planning on recording the event, either audio-only, or audio+video? Is anyone planning on taking detailed notes and making them available?

Ahh, I was wondering what had happened. I'm sorry to hear that you had such bad transportation problems. ;-(

Are any of the slides from tonight available? I'm going to run the request of creating some puppet recipe stuff by a buddy of mine to help contribute to the project.

Thanks for the presentation on Sensu. Wondering if the slides from the 3 presentations will be posted here later?

Hey, will this event happen again? I'd like to go, but the current one's all filled up.

If there is more interest in talking about / hacking on Sensu after this meetup, we can definitely have another meetup on the topic. I'm also very interested as we're planning to adopt Sensu in the very near future.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
