What good are agile project management methods, e.g. Scrum, and what good are Agile/XP engineering practices such as pairing and test-first, if your framework cannot support refactoring the data/domain model for each major release?

Grails, as a top-drawer full stack framework, realises that this capability is needed in most large projects, migrating the schema (and sometimes data, dbunit style as well) is just as important as continually refactoring to improve code quality.
