Best Practices for Scaling Cloud Infrastructure
Details
DataDog and HashiCorp decided to combine forces and host a meetup together on December 14th at Microsoft Reactor in San Francisco. The focus of the evening will be on diving deep into the best practices for scaling cloud infrastructure.
Talk Details
As the DataDog team scaled their platform to thousands of VMs and many billions of metrics it became a challenge for traditional configuration management to keep up with their rate of change. Join the HashiCorp and DataDog teams as we discuss our adventures in scaling configuration management and service discovery in the cloud using HashiCorp Consul and other open source tools. Along the way we will discuss monitoring and operational best practices we’ve learned through our many deployments.
