Lightning Talks!

What's that you say? Only one speaker per event just doesn't scratch your itch? Then do we have the event for you!

Two hours, plenty of speakers, each given five minutes to make their point.

While we naturally have a particular fondness for Perl-specific talks, we're interested in any topic which is of interest to the San Francisco Perl community. We are diverse people with equally diverse interests and skill sets. We want our Lightning Talks to reflect that diversity. For instance:

• From Zero to Dancer (http://www.perldancer.org/) in Five Minutes? That's game.

• Regex in Perl6 (http://perl6.org/)? That's game.

• Taming the messaging beast using Kafka (http://kafka.apache.org)? That's game.

• My RDBMS can beat up your NoSQL DB? That's game.

• Coffee roasting: Min-maxing the perfect buzz? That's also game.

The only thing which is guaranteed at this event is that you'll leave both entertained AND educated. It's bound to be a superb evening and one of our most popular events of the year, so RSVP early!
