MooseX::Workers -- The fork() Not Written (by you)
Details
For our August 2011 meeting, David Storrs will be talking about MooseX::Workers. MooseX::Workers makes writing multi-process code a breeze. It handles the forking, the reaping of child procs, and makes it trivial to managing logging across all your children. It even makes it easy to pass data structures from the children back to the parent.
We'll cover the whole thing from soup to nuts using a simplified version of some real production code as an example. There will also be a short intro to Moose for those who haven't worked with it recently.
