Riak 1.0 Preview
Details
Hey All -
After taking a month off in August, we are ready to roll with our September meetup.
We're going back to the Formspring offices so keep in mind that the seats are limited (and based on the presentations, I suspect you'll want to be at this meetup).
Here are the details:
7:15 - 7:30
Riak, Ruby, Emacs, and the Xiki Framework
Craig Muth, Developer, http://Homerun.com
Craig will be demoing a text-based wiki-ish UI for interacting with Riak. It runs in emacs, is implemented in Ruby, and is part of the Xiki Framework (http://xiki.org). This UI lets you browse and do CRUD operations on Riak objects, and perform things like key filters.
Craig will be showing the implementation (https://github.com/trogdoro/xiki/blob/master/riak.rb) of the Riak specific features and will also be demonstration more of Xiki's general functionality.
7:45 - 8:15

As usual, we'll end the night with some questions and networking. And Basho will be providing the finest pizza and beer we can find (so if you don't come for the technology at least come for the refreshments).
