Hermes Pique talk on Haneke, a generic memory and disk cache written in Swift

Details

Hey Swifters!

Hermes Pique is joining us on the 6th of November all the way from Spain, where he is one of the co-organizers of NSBarcelona.

Hermes will be sharing lessons learned by building a Swift framework. His talk will be about Haneke (https://github.com/Haneke/HanekeSwift) a generic memory and disk cache written in Swift. He will introduce the framework and then go into interesting design decisions and challenges he encountered.

Hermes is an active open source contributor and has recently joined Facebook. Previously he worked at his own company Robot Media creating interactive children's books for mobile devices.

We are looking for more speakers, so if you would like to do a talk at one of our meetups, please contact the organizers!

Thanks to Thoughtworks for hosting us!
