Movie + Discussion: Rebels with a Cause

I am SUPER excited about this screening!!!

Please join the Wild Equity for the screening of the film Rebels with a Cause. The film follows the story of the activists who took on developers to save open space and create two national treasures: Point Reyes National Seashore and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

We are honored to be joined by Amy Meyer, a leading activist in this amazing campaign, and the film's writer/director, Nancy Kelly for a post film discussion.

"It’s a fascinating example of a hard fought campaign to preserve something important to all of us — our public land...[it] is a feel-good cinematic experience that conveys an inspiring truth about how ordinary individuals have the power to change the rules."

The screening is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.

The Wild Equity Institute office is conveniently located near several public transportation stops: 16th St and Mission BART station and Muni lines 22, 33, 47, 49.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
