Hitachi develops IT systems for various business.

We have applied ethnographic research to identify underlying problems and real-life practices since the beginning of 2000's, and we have explained the latent needs on the ground.

I will describe the benefits of ethnographic research through some case studies.

    I can't remember exactly, but I think some folks after the talk were discussing rapid prototyping and resources for it. Even though it's one of those methods that's best learned by doing, I wanted to share a link to a 25 minute video by Tom Chi on the topic. He worked on the Google team that brought us Google Glass.
