I felt as though I had been transported back in time to the 1840's as Elizabeth shared her ranch and family home with us as though we were old friends.  A special surprise was sampling the beef raised at the ranch in the original dining room of the adobe farmhouse that was heated by a glowing fire in the fireplace.

She was fabulous and very informative about her cattle!
And best of all a new playmate for my grandson Lars Ohlgren was made on the ranch!
Now that Lars has lots of teeth we will only feed him beef from the Rancho...

Fabulous! It was lovely seeing the historic ranch and learning about how Elizabeth Poett raises her cattle AND to walk the ranch and see how healthy the cattle are. Her dad Jim shared fun stories about the history....challenges and successes.
