Every two weeks we meet at various locations to learn the secrets of Santa Barbara's sensational cuisine from the people who produce, market and prepare our food. We visit farms, markets, restaurants, culinary stores, wineries, the marina and many more. Learn and experience what local is all about.Our goal is to bridge the gap between taste, health and the environment by purchasing local food produced by our farmers. This will nourish our body with delicious fresh food and preserve our soil, wildlife, land, farm workers and our community. I am a long time foodie and dietitian who teaches nutrition to chefs at SBCC and works as a dietitian at Sansum Clinic.
