Native Garden Maintenance-Time to Give Back

Sunday April 3-Native Garden Maintenance 8-12PM

We will be pulling weeds in the East/Rice Canyon Native Garden.

Directions: Exit I-5 at Calgrove. If you're coming from Valencia, turn right onto the Old Road. If you're coming from the SF Valley, make a left turn when you exit the freeway and go under the freeway. Continue through the signal. Pass Towsley Canyon, the post office, and the Church of the Nazarene. IMMEDIATELY after passing the church, make a right onto an asphalt driveway. Make an immediate left on a service road. You will see a green sign that says East and Rice Canyon. Continue on the service road. Pass some corrals with horses and a trail head. At the end of the service road is a parking area. This is the parking area for the native garden. Parking is $5. ($65. ticket) or FREE on the street, just a few steps away. (You can exit the parking area at the very end and go back out onto the street and park)

BRING: Garden Gloves, water, snacks, hand shovel.
