This Hike is along a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail with views of Elizabeth
Lake and The California Poppy Preserve off in the distance. Moderate 9 mi, 1400 feet gain hike
through chaparral and native woodlands.

Bring 2 quarts water, lunch, snacks, hat, sunscreen and bug spray, appropriate
footwear WITH TREAD.

Meet at Chesebrough Park at corner of McBean Parkway and Sunset Hills Drive
in Valencia at 7:45 AM for 8:00 car shuttle departure. Or meet at the trail head at 8:30
Directions to Trail head:
From the intersection of Copperhill Drive and Francisquito Rd go north on
Francisquito Road 18 miles to the Green valley Ranger
Station, (about 2 miles north of spunky Canyon Road). Park at the ranger Station.
