Historical Hike of the San Francisquito Dam Area with Frank Rock

May 7, Saturday, Local Historian Frank Rock will give you a tour of the San Francisquito Dam area

We'll meet at Heritage park at Newhall Ranch Rd. and McBean Parkway at 10:15am, and then caravan up to the dam site at 10:30. From there we'll hike in on an old abandoned rd. to the various remains and up a steep ridge. It will be 3 to 4 miles. This will be a very easy hike! Frank usually charges for this hike when he does it every Spring. He's not charging us. If you'd like to make a donation, he would welcome it.
