Easy Hike to the Waterfall from Placerita Nature Center

Saturday, November 19-Easy-This will be an easy trip to the Waterfall from Placerita Nature Center on the Canyon Trail. It is 5 miles RT with virtually no gain. Sylvia Altamirano, a docent at Placerita and a CHC board member will be leading this hike. This is a great family hike, so bring your kids along, if you’d like! Sylvia is bi-lingual, so if you speak Spanish, come along! Directions: From Valencia, go south on the I-5 freeway to the SR-14 freeway. Exit at Placerita Canyon. Turn right. Follow this road for about 2 miles until you see a sign on the right that says, “Placerita Natural Area.”. Turn in here and park.
