It follows a Creek, which is mostly dry now, but can roar during winter! You’ll love the open grass lands, the Oak and Walnut Woodlands, and the Sage scrub. It is a total of 4 miles on this in and out trail with very little gain. Join Lise Meyers for the very first hike she will lead for CHC. Meet at the East Canyon Trail head at 8:00 AM. for an 8:15 departure.

Directions to East Canyon: Exit the I-5 at Calgrove. Turn left if you are coming from the SF Valley. Turn Right if you are coming from the SCV. Go through the signal, continue south on the Old Road past the Church of the Nazarene. Park on the road past the Church.
